Victim Advocacy

Victim Advocates provide help to adults over the age of 60 who are crime victims or witnesses in Philadelphia. Advocates work to make sure that older adult crime victims are able to access justice and available support services after they experience crime or abuse.

Emergency Security Assistance

The Elderly Victims Emergency Security Fund (EVESF) replaces or repairs locks, doors, and windows that were broken during a crime in the homes of low-income seniors in Philadelphia.

Restorative Justice

The Older Adult Restorative Justice Program is a partnership between CARIE and Good Shepherd Mediation Program. We provide victim advocacy for older adults who choose to address crime and harm they’ve experienced through a restorative justice process moderated by one of Good Shepherd’s skilled facilitators.
